100% organic and non-violent silk

  • Size 185 x 37 cm

    Finishing: 3cm raw finish

  • Composition: 100% organic silk (Ahimsa quality - non violent)

    Base colour: Striped (shades of green, beige and white)

    Care: Hand wash at max. 30°C with silk or mild detergent. Do not tumble dry.

    • Provenance: Handwoven in Hatay (Turkey) using silk from organic agricolture and non-violent production.

    • Hatay silk: The weft yarn is not dyed but is obtained from rare coloured cocoons which were previously native to this area and considered extinct for 40 years. The silk breeder has successfully reared the silkworms over many years so that these beautiful silk fibers in natural colours are now available again.

    • Technique: Handwoven

    • Tailoring: This scarf is cut and finished in our Atelier. We produce our pieces to order to keep our manufacturing processes sustainable and avoid overproduction. Please allow two extra weeks when ordering made-to-order items.

    • Shipping: All orders are packed with care and shipped from Como.

  • Processing
    All of our products are made to order in our Como atelier. Our standard lead time is 5-7 business days for most products.

    Returns
    We hope this never happens, but in the event you're not fully satisfied with your order, we will process a refund to the card used for the purchase (excluding the shipping cost) as long as the product is returned in its original condition (unworn and unaltered) within 30 days from the date of delivery.
